Whether you or your child is a patient at our Charlottesville, Ruckersville or Crozet, Virginia offices, from the first day you enter our office you will be treated with exceptional care and consideration in safe and welcoming surroundings.
We offer complimentary examinations for our first timevisitors. During this time, we will help you get acquainted with our office and teach you about orthodontic treatment. We understand that each patient’s case is different and we promise to give you the personal attention you deserve. Your first complimentary visit will consist of the following:
· We will perform a clinical exam and photos will be taken of you or your child’s face and teeth. The photos will be used to illustrate all of the orthodontic needs that are apparent without further records, such as x-rays.
· Dr. Hamer or Dr. Brown will then provide his or her impression of what the treatment will entail, an estimated treatment time, and an exact cost. Options for spreading the cost over the estimated treatment period can be reviewed at this time as well.
· The next step is completing the accumulation of diagnostic records by supplementing the photos with two x-rays and impressions for plaster models of the patient’s teeth.
With all of this information, Dr. Hamer and Dr. Brown will devise a complete treatment plan to address all of the patient’s orthodontic needs. At this time we encourage any and all questions from the patient and the parent, and as such, we provide ample time to answer them.
