Charlottesville Orthodontist Offers Free Mouth Guards to Athletes
An orthodontist in Charlottesville is protecting student-athletes’ teeth for free.
Hamer & Glassick Orthodontics is hoping to ease financial burdens for families by providing personalized mouth guards.
Dr. David Hamer wants to give back to the community he has worked in for 30 years.
“I’m humbled to have been able to practice in this area for so long. I just love being able to do this,” Hamer said.
His office is giving athletes in Charlottesville a reason to smile.
“We just thought twice a year we would reach out to the whole community and offer the service. So we typically do it in March and September,” Hamer said.
Hamer says you don’t have to be a regular patient.
